This actually helped increase my breastmilk!

Hey Sis! If you follow me on Instagram (@iamnaturallyshe) then you know that I have a now 5 month old and haven’t been able to produce enough breastmilk for her.

We have seen a lactation consultant for the first 2 months after she was born and it definitely helped with latching, nipple confusion, and other methods. I’ve tried a lot of methods for increasing milk supply. Nursing baby more often, nursing on one breast and pumping on the other at the same time, Power pumping. At one point, I just got tired.

About a month ago, I had the the opportunity to Collaborate with Mrs. Patel’s and tried their Lactation Chai Spice Tea and Superbars to help increase milk supply. I wanted to really test it out before giving a review and can definitely say that it has helped!

I want you to keep in mind to always consult with your doctor before trying anything. I have hyperthyroidism and I spoke with my doctor first, as this new found medical issue I developed is one reason why my supply is low.

The Chai Spice Tea contains Dill Seeds, Rooibos, Alfalfa, Cinnamon, Cloves & Cardamom and is Caffeine and Fenugreek free! Drink 1-3 cups a day for the duration of nursing to support milk supply. Tea leaves/brew bags can be used for up to 3 cups. I used the brew bags and added almond milk.

I received 2 types of Superbars.

The original bar contains Garbanzo Bean Flour, Coconut Oil, Almond Flour, Sugar, Shatavari, Turmeric, Cardamom, Almonds.

The White Chocolate bar contains Garbanzo Bean Flour, Coconut Oil, Almond Flour, Sugar, White Chocolate (Sugar, Palm Kernel and Palm Oils, Cocoa Butter, Nonfat Milk, Cream, Whey, Sunflower Lecithin and Vanilla), Cranberries, Pistachios, Shatavari, Turmeric, Cardamom, Almonds

I ate 2 bars a day and they taste really good! The White Chocolate bar is my favorite!!

After a week of tea and Superbars, I noticed that each pump session (pumped 3x a day and nurse in between) I was pumping out a 1/2 ounce more in my right breast and almost an ounce more in my left. (My left breast produces a lot more). Everyone’s outcome may be different but this was definitely progress for me! I would recommend trying out their tea and bars!
